Chandragiri hills is the place located in the south western part of Kathmandu valley. It is only seven kilometers from Thankot. It is lise in the Chandragiri VDC. It is famous for breath taking view of kathmandu along with the Himalayan range. The temple is the main attraction for the pilgrims visiting the place. Previously people need to walk or go via the vehicles to visit the place. Now, due to the establishment of cable car, people can travel to the top of hill via cable car with an ease. The length of cable car is about 2.5 km. It takes about 9 minutes to travel via cable car. Traveling via the cable car is one of the best part of the trip here. We will be travelling above the hills covered with the clouds. It feels like we are going to a city of clouds. Also the unpredictable weather of the place is one of the unique thing about this place. The craze of people travelling Chandragiri is increasing these days. This place is worth to visit if you want to view the Kathmandu valley.
